About

Private jets for people who travel together

Shared Jet Flights arranges whole-aircraft charters for groups of friends, families and colleagues, and gives them the tools to split the price fairly.

What we do

A broker for group trips

Shared Jet Flights is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.

For a group, that means one quote for the whole aircraft, with the operator named and every cost included, so the organiser can share a single number with everyone. We arrange one-way, round-trip and multi-city trips, in the US and abroad, on aircraft from turboprops to long-range jets. Asking for a quote involves no membership, deposit or sign-up.

The split

Your group, your rules

The charter agreement is signed by one charterer, a person or a company, who is responsible to the operator for the price. How the group divides it is up to you. The splitter shows even and weighted shares, the cost of an empty seat and what a dropout means, and lists the points worth agreeing in writing before anyone pays.

We do not sell individual seats on your charter to the public. If you are curious about per-seat flights with people you do not know, our notice on sharing with strangers explains how those work.

Standards

Who flies you

US flights are operated by carriers certificated under FAA Part 135, the rules for on-demand charter that cover maintenance, training and crew rest. Abroad, operators hold their country’s equivalent. Many also hold audit ratings from ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO, and every option we send lists the operator, its certificate and any ratings, so the organiser can check them. The FAA explains how charter operators are certificated.

What to expect

From group chat to wheels-up

Before booking: options by email for the organiser, and one advisor to answer questions from the group.

Booking: the charterer signs an agreement setting the price, payment timing and cancellation terms, then collects shares from the group as agreed.

The day: everyone meets at the private terminal and boards together. The captain makes the final call on weather and safety.

Afterwards: any variable items shown on the quote are settled under the agreement, and the same advisor can plan the next trip.
