These terms
They apply to sharedjetflights.com, which Charter Jet One, an air charter broker, operates under the Shared Jet Flights name. By browsing the site or sending a request, you agree to them.
Our role
Shared Jet Flights is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft. We arrange whole-aircraft charters with certificated operators on behalf of the charterer. The operator runs the flight, and its captain has the final say on weather, routing, loads and safety.
Splits and estimates
Shares, prices and flight times on this site are estimates for information, based on typical rates and conditions; they are not offers. How a group divides the cost of a charter is a private arrangement between its members, and we are not a party to it.
Quotes and bookings
A quote binds nobody until a charter agreement is signed by the charterer. The operating carrier and its certificate details are disclosed in the quote and the agreement before booking, and aircraft and crew stay subject to the operator’s confirmation.
The charterer
The person or company that signs the charter agreement is responsible to the operator for the full price and for the accuracy of passenger details, whatever arrangements the group has made among itself. We do not sell individual seats on a charter to the public.
Taxes and fees
Quotes include the 7.5% federal excise tax on domestic flights, segment fees and any international taxes. Charges that depend on events, such as de-icing, extra waiting or changes the group requests, are set out in the quote with how they are billed.
Payment and cancellation
Deposits, payment dates and cancellation charges follow the charter agreement and vary with the operator and timing. Agree within your group who bears them before anyone signs.
Passengers and luggage
Every traveller needs valid ID or travel documents, and the group must stay within the aircraft’s luggage limits. Pets fly only with the operator’s approval.
Using the site
No false requests, scraping or interference with the site, and no commercial reuse of its content without permission.
Liability
As far as the law permits, Shared Jet Flights and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for disputes between members of a group, or for loss caused by operating carriers, airports, authorities, weather or other events beyond reasonable control. Liability that cannot be limited by law is not limited.
Law
The laws of the United States and the State of New York apply to these terms and to any dispute arising from them.
Revisions
We may revise these terms, and the current wording is always the one shown here.
